*** AbHaulier *** - *** ABLOADS ***
Communication between Cascade's two packages takes a major step forward
Now *** ABLOADS *** users can SEE which notifications are short notice and need urgent attention, and which can be dealt with routinely. Some time ago, we wrote a new fax protocol, so that data in notification faxes from *** AbHaulier *** could be auto-entered in *** ABLOADS *** at the click of a button. Subsequently, we extended this facility to *** AbHaulier *** email notifications. Just one click on screen, and all the data in the notification was entered automatically ready for the route to be checked. Finally, we added a similar facility for notifications received from ESDAL. But the problem still remained - how to check which notifications were short notice and needed to be dealt with urgently? Well, now we've sorted this. If you are an *** ABLOADS *** operator, with the latest release you can now see clearly which notifications in your log are urgent and need dealing with first, and which can wait. Authorities operating *** ABLOADS *** can now choose, if they wish, to dispense with the time-consuming chore of short notice telephone calls for all hauliers using *** AbHaulier ***.
